The location is key. We walked to M&T stadium for a game. We walked across the street to two really great restaurants. The kids loved the pool while we enjoyed the hot tub. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Lots of night life around the harbor and adequate police presence to make us feel safe. The Aquarium was very interesting and much bigger than it looks, great for kids and adults ! This was not our first stay at the Royal Sonata and will not be our last.

The staff and their service was impeccable. I want to name a few amazing Sonesta staff members that made my one night stay unforgettable: Tony and Jose from valet, the very classy woman with the great hair at check in, and there was another woman that worked in the restaurant who had such a friendly personality. I will stay again just because they value customer service and it shows. I loved my harbor view king room. Very beautiful and clean.

The location is absolutely great! The hotel itself a bit older also from the style, but all was very clean and comfy! Pool upstairs was nice for kids, but not a nice atmosphere up there to relax. Chairs had old pillows on and the overall style seemed old. Also the images in the corridors were old and bleached as if from the 70s silk hanging. All in all a good experiences but with an older look.

The hotel was reasonably priced for the area, and incredibly convenient to the Inner Harbor. My room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet (other than an intermittent background hum that I think was the elevators moving up and down, as I was right next to them). I didn't interact much with staff, but they were very friendly and attentive when I did.

The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and informative. Easy layout to navigate and had no issues with noise in the hallways or issues with the room. The view of the water was lovely as well. Loved the window with couch to watch the sunrise and the bed was very comfortable and room temperature was great! Also loved the overall space and size of the room.
